Once the contest is completed and all submissions have been reviewed by Flexjet, LLC to the standards stated below, 10 semi-finalists will be selected to move on to the public voting phase of the contest. Once the voting is closed, 3 finalists will be selected to move on to the presentation phase of the competition. In this phase, finalists will meet virtually with the Flexjet, LLC team for a Q&A session regarding their selected design. Being selected as a semi-finalist or finalist does NOT mean you are a winner. This phase of the contest is an opportunity to show the Flexjet, LLC team how you envision your design concept coming to life, as well as understand your identity as a designer.

To be considered in the running for the $100,000 prize, you must be able to complete the design concept presentation phase of the contest.

Judging Criteria: Each submission will be judged according to the following elements.

  1. Likeliness to surprise and delight Flexjet aircraft Owners.

  2. The proposed design’s ability to offer Flexjet aircraft Owners an in-cabin experience they are accustomed to.

  3. The proposed design’s ability to foster an in-cabin environment that is welcoming and elegant.

  4. The proposed design’s ability to differentiate Flexjet from other private flight providers.

  5. Our ability to source materials that can visually make your design come to life but are appropriate for an in-flight FAA-regulated environment.
